Dice the avocado, and place into a bowl. Add the quartered cherry tomatoes and toss lightly without breaking down the avocado.
Slice the bread into 1 inch slices and place on parchment paper and place under the broiler and lightly toasted on both sides. Set aside and let cool.
After the bread is cool add dollops of the avocado and tomato mixture onto the bread. Top with the diced chives and shredded basil and then drizzle with the reduced balsamic vinegar.
